Thanks, Debbie. This is my one and only published story. I wrote this as a class assignment for Jule Edelson’s Prose Fiction Workshop at Wake Forest. I revised it later. I actually feel silly writing fiction.

You got me laughing! I feel silly too! I keep thinking, “I can’t write that. It’s not true! It didn’t happen!” ha! But, surprisingly, I have eeked out a couple of short fiction stories for this 24/7 writing project at Folded Word. Very short ones. ha! Just a little bit of silly coming out. 🙂
