While it shouldn’t be the goal of doing good deeds for others, it certainly feels great to hear the words Thank you. Yet we often forget to express our appreciation for acts of kindness directed our way. We take people for granted. One of the best ways for a relationship to grow is to learn how to say thank you.

-from Find a Real Friend in Jesus

“When God breathed His Spirit into Adam, it was not only to make him a living creature. That same Holy Spirit also gave him insight into the things of God. We, as creatures, cannot hope to understand the mysteries of our faith on our own, but with the gift of the Spirit we have an insight into those mysteries from within our own hearts.”

— St. Francis de Sales
