Nouwen’s Voice: When you look at the world from the heart of God you can see anew the enormous love that God has for us. We are God’s people. You can also see the enormous suffering of people who don’t know who they are. Looking from the heart of God inspires deep solidarity in us. We recognize and feel and sympathize; our hearts are filled with immense compassion.
