Tomorrow June 27 is my husband’s and my thirty-ninth wedding anniversary. We are going to “take the day off” to follow The Dale Trail (and make a number of stops that follow important places in the life of Dale Earnhardt) and then eat dinner at the Open Kitchen in Charlotte. We’ve been going to the Open Kitchen since December 1966, when Bill’s parents took us there for the first time. The place is full of memories.

So I won’t be blogging until we return tomorrow night. And that’s the way it is.
