Dear Helen, I am wholeheartedly applauding to you for your awesome response the above. Unfortunately, our blogs are defined by the number of Bible' verses on our blogs indeed, but that's not the Christianity for sure. Our faithfulness is tested by our love to other (by recognition Jesus in other) but not by our knowledge of the theology. I understand that statement is very risky - the harmony between the heart and the hands is the obligatory, but the highest worth is the love that shines without any words or uses the simplest phrases and offers the hand of support.
Of course, I am not a pastor or a the saint - I am just Tomas- just your brother in Christ, but I am deeply convinced that your blog is more Christian than lots of solid religious sites where I see lots of quotes and and no personal confessions that reveals what is what.
Sorry for my text tends to judge other - that have happened unawares . It would be the God Who will judge us all and will embrace all His followers.
I am so happy for I had an opportunity to meet with you. Thank you. Let God helps us not to lose the path.

Hi Therev1, Can I call you Rev? I'm glad I didn't drive you away. You don't have to "think like me" to be welcome here, but it's nice once in a while.

If you hang around a while you'll learn that one of my pet peeves is people who "think and talk in Bible verses" rather than "ingesting the Word of God" so they can "breathe it," while they talk about whatever comes up. And ones who haven't figured out that the Gospel is clear, but there are details that are just plain mystery.

"Study[ing] to show [that one is an equipped] workman" is something too often judged by other Christians by the number of verses on one's blog. It's the trenches not the classroom that "show" Who we know. And if you don't believe that others have to prove the faith for themselves, (while those who "already know" sit patiently by,) you probably won't be around my blog for long.

The main purpose of this blog is to promote my poetry and the poetry of others. I'm a Christian wherever I go. And all work is God's work. The workman or workwoman :-) who studies doesn't need to be "afraid." Peace. May God bless.

Hi Tomas, Everyone has something to share. You certainly do. My life is richer for knowing you. The beauty you create through your art is magnificent. You inspire me to write. Do not judge yourself so harshly, my friend.

Wow, the verse "They may see the good you do as self serving" has caught my attention and pierced me deeply. If Self serving produces the good that may enrich other - I live in some other space than our Earth.
Of course, one who has nothing to share has no right to comment.
I agree that the serving myself is wise activity, but my documents are the papers of the fool and consequently my serving for self is my sharing for a free all I have - it's no wonder, while reaching 52 a little remains to share...
