I knew I would be like my mom before even taking the quiz. When I was a kid, I always say things about my mother that irritated me. I really didn’t appreciate her great love and the sacrifices she made for me until I was older. The older I get the more I think it would be an honor to be more like her, because she has an excellent spirit. I remember her pastor saying to her, “I wish I had a hundred more just like you.”

thanks for this, helen. like you, I am just like my mama. she is my best friend, I love spending time with her. once in a while I will exhibit one of the annoying behaviors that she possesses, but the majority of the time, all is well.

Hi Carol, Jana, and Holly,
I am like my mother, I hope, in all the good ways. I call her every week to “solve the world’s problems,” as she puts it.

I am really like my Dad. Optimistic, adventurous, and see problems as a challenge to create resolution. My Mom is a very negative, critical person who enjoys staying home. I have to admit, however, that her criticism is what helped me develop my singing ability. If I don’t call her everyday, she thinks I have forgotten about her. She does enjoy a good laugh, but is very susceptible to feeling no one cares about her. Most of that is because she is lonely and doesn’t do much with her idle time. I love her dearly, and we understand “that is just the way she is.” Strange how characters develop. Everyone is so different.

I’m pretty much a homebody. I like going out, but I also like staying home.

Hi Helen, I got the same result as yourself. But my mum died when I was eighteen so a lot of the answers I gave were just guesswork.
