I’m running for 2007 Poet Laureate of the Blogosphere with the campaign slogan, “Vote for Helen cuz she wants ta win!” (Is that honest or what?)
I have ten votes, and I am not winning. So go to the site of Billy the Blogging Poet to vote for me.
You DO NOT have to be a poet and will not be asked to identify yourself to vote.
UPDATE: I NOW HAVE ELEVEN VOTES!
FINAL UPDATE FOR THE NIGHT: Well, I have 15 votes. So that’s 5 since I first posted this entry. Funny thing is I have 17 hits on this entry. Guess a lot of folks who don’t want to vote for me are dropping by.
AND NOW IN THE MORNING: I have 17 votes. That’s 2 more. And there are 27 hits on this entry. Do you think there are chads invovled?
I need more votes to win.

The reason I asked was because as of today……I am a contributing editor in health and wellness there. One of my responsibilities is promoting other women bloggers from their blogroll. Even though you are not a health and wellness site…I wanted to publicly thank you for your support of my blogging early on….since if I had given up back then, I wouldn’t be having this wonderful opportunity now.

Catherine, the folks who got on your case are the ones who ended up gone. There’s something ironic about that. All you were doing was publicizing your blog. And WordPress got over the non-issue real quickly, in case you hadn’t noticed. I am glad you are getting this opportunity. What’s the URL for the site?

Thanks Catherine. I googled it and joined. At least, I go my password and such. But I’m waiting until morning (when I’m actually awake) to log in. It looks like it might be interesting.

Is this not the same post as when you first wrote about this competition? I thought I was the first one to tell you, “I voted for Helen.” Regardless, I vote as often as I can. HELEN DESERVES TO WIN!!!
